Not later!

Just as many little kids do, Todd clamors to do something at inappropriate times, such as asking for a snack right before mealtime, or wanting to play outside right before nap time. So we usually tell him no, not now, he can do/eat it later, and explain why.

His response? Usually a very loud and very insistent "Not later!!"

Recently, he's begun turning the tables on us. When we tell him to do some loathed chore, such as taking a shower, going on the toilet, or brushing his teeth, he'll yell, "No! I'll do it later!"
